Hellebusch Tool & Die, Inc. located in Washington, MO has been designing and building high quality die cast dies and plastic injection molds sign 1973. We are a family own 60-member team made up of skilled craftsman, engineers, and support-staff, operating out of out 60,000 sq. ft. facility.
We are currently hiring CNC Machine Operators for day shift (Mon-Fri 6 am – 2:30 pm) and night shift (Mon-Thu, 4 pm – 2:30 am). Shift premium applies. Climate controlled environment. We welcome recent Tech School graduates.
Description/Responsibilities
The CNC Machinist sets up and operates a variety of vertical and/or horizontal CNC machine centers to perform various functions, such as milling, drilling, reaming, and boring of soft and hardened steel and other materials to produce custom precision tooling components.
Qualifications
Trade school associate degree or equivalent experience (CNC machining experience in a custom tooling environment).
Must be capable of operating CNC machine tools in a precision custom tooling environment. Must have a good understanding of machining operations such as milling, drilling, reaming, and boring to produce precision custom components. Must be capable of holding tight tolerances and inspecting your own work.
Must be capable of following written & verbal instructions.
Must be familiar with CNC programming and capable of reading blueprints, programming set-up sheets, setting tools, have a good understanding of industrial math, good computer skills, and have good written & verbal communication skills to communicate with operators & programmers as needed.
Must be able to measure & document parts for conformance to specifications after any adjustments are made to ensure product quality.
